4-Way Stretch Carpet Lining
Our 4-way stretch carpet lining is soft, flexible and high quality, making it ideal for DIY van conversions and camper builds. It stretches in every direction, so it wraps neatly around tricky corners and curves such as wheel arches, window recesses and door frames without the need for endless cutting and patching.
SoundBlocker Insulation by KIRATEK
A 2mm thick self-adhesive butyl-rubber sound-deadening mat designed to reduce vibration and resonance in the large flat metal panels on your van’s side walls. By damping these panels, it helps get rid of that ‘tinny’ road noise you often hear in the back of a van while driving and stop your van acting like a drum.
How to use SoundBlocker
SoundBlocker will mostly benefit large flat panels with no folds or creases in them. It will not add much benefit to campervan floors, roofs or wheel arches, as these already have ridges in them to help reduce road vibration noise. The 80/20 rule applies here - you get diminishing returns once you start applying the mat beyond the flat panels. This material is heavy, and extra weight in your van means more fuel use, increased brake wear and reduced handling.

Technical Details
- 4-Way Stretch Carpet Lining: 2m wide, approx. 3–4mm thick, 100% polypropylene fibre. Flame retardancy tested to FMVSS 302.
- SoundBlocker: Each sheet measures 40cm x 23cm, with 2mm thick self-adhesive butyl rubber. Non-flammable.
- Thermo Acoustic Foam Insulation: Each sheet measures 100cm x 40cm, approx. 7.5mm thick. Self-adhesive, foil-backed closed-cell foam. Meets Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard FMVSS 302.
- High Temperature Adhesive: Heat resistance up to 90°C.
